International Schooling
In France, public schools are free and provide high-quality instruction.
There are 3 public primary schools with international sections in Grenoble (English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Arabic) and two international secondary schools.
The Cité Scolaire Internationale is a French public secondary school that teaches the official French curriculum and offers additional language and history courses available in German, English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic.
A private secondary school, the American School of Grenoble, offers teaching inspired by the American educational system and designed to meet the needs of English-speaking students aged 10 to 18. It leads to the US High School diploma. Fees will be asked, like for all private schools in France.

Several possibilities exist for childcare in France from 2 months to 3 years, depending on whether you need full-time, part-time, afterschool or babysitting solutions. The very affordable cost of childcare provided by state-registered professionals is calculated depending on parents’ income.
