Preparing proposal submission

Account Creation

Proposal editors must create a PMS account to login, prepare and submit their proposals.
Click the link and follow the on-screen instructions to set up your account.

Submission Procedure

  1. Form completion: Fill out the on-line form with details of the requested observations
    (source coordinates, receiver setups, array configuration, etc.)

  2. Upload Scientific Justification: Submit a single file in PDF format containing the
    scientific justification. A LaTeX template is available on the PMS submission page. You may
    customize this template or use another software to generate the PDF, ensuring
    compliance with the following requirements:

    • Text: Up to two pages of text describing scientific aims and technical justification, and up to 4 pages for a Large Program
    • Figures, Tables, References: Up to two additional pages. Do not mix text with figures, tables, or references.
    • Font Size: Must be 11pt or larger.

Author Validation

  1. All authors must validate their identity (e-mail and affiliation) and their participation before the deadline.
  2. The editor of the proposal must send invitations to all authors via PMS by clicking the invitation button. Authors will receive an e-mail asking them to validate their contact information, which does not require creating a PMS account.
  3. We advise proposal editors to send invitations well before the deadline to ensure timely validation.

Submission Timeline

  1. PMS opens for new proposal submissions about two weeks before the deadline.
  2. Proposers can modify their proposals in PMS until the deadline. The submit button must be clicked again after any modifications.
